One whirlwind of a day (pt 3)

On the Monday following Tyrone's homecoming (he had been home for 2 days) we took Kaleb to school and then ventured around Savannah a little bit, as Tyrone had never really spent much time here. Around lunch time, we decided to have a nice lunch out, and went to the Olive Garden. That was where we went with our families to eat after we got married, and it was the first time we had been there since, so that was nice and romantic (even with Shiloh and Gabe with us hehe)

After that, we decided to get Kaleb early from school and go up to Statesboro to surprise Tiny and TC, his 2 sisters that live close to us. I made arrangements with them each under false pretenses, and we were on our way. We went to Tiny's first, and when she saw her brother, she almost literally hit the ground. She sobbed and just hung on to him for dear life, she couldn't believe it.

We went in and visited for a nice long while, and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. Tiny kept giving me the evil eye for not warning her, but I think that I am forgiven now ;)

So, after all of that excitement, it was time to let Tiny get to work and go surprise TC. When we got to her house, her boyfriend Andre was outside, and when he saw Tyrone, he started grinning ear to ear, knowing how excited TC was going to be. I asked him to get her, but not tell her about Tyrone. Tyrone got out and hid behind the Tahoe (the whole thing was very funny looking, I'm sure) as TC came out the door. She started to speak to me and the kids, and then movement from behind the truck caught her eye. She walked around it, craning her neck, and then she saw him. She shrieked! and she ran! and then she jumped!! It was hilarious. She jumped and fastened herself around her big brother and stayed there saying nothing that we could understand for a good 3 or 4 minutes until Tyrone took her off of him and set her on the ground. It really was a great reaction!

We visited there for a while, but it was starting to get late, so we decided to bring TC back to stay with us for the night, as we were going to be in Statesboro again on Tues., anyway. (That is the start of a whole new part of this story, coming tomorrow!)

And, curious to know what happens when TC and I get together?? My inner gangsta' comes out!! ;)

TC loves braiding my hair, and I like having it done every so often. We had fun, with Tyrone right there giving us a hard time the whole time. Good stuff.
