I took Tyrone to the airport this morning as r & r is officially over. My mother graciously watched Gabe and Shiloh for me (Kaleb was at school) so that I could take him by myself. It was incredibly hard to watch him go a second time, but we are so grateful for the time that we had together, and are trying to think of it as now we are in the home stretch (a very long home stretch...) as the next time he comes home will be for a solid 12 months.
I want to thank everyone that is praying for us, this is an extremely hard time. I have found out in the past few days that alot more people are reading this blog and keeping us in their thoughts and prayers than I had realized, so I want to say thank you to ALL of you.
Forthcoming are tales of r&r, complete with pictures galore. I figure I will do a series, as a single post would be completely overwhelming--there is so much to tell. I may start on that later tonight, or it may be in the next day or two. I don't really feel up to it at the moment, but I know I will soon, and I know that there are plenty of people eagerly awaiting the pics, especially family members who were not able to see Tyrone during r&r.
*UPDATE* I just talked to Tyrone, and he is en route and doing well. I will let everyone know when he reaches his FOB safely.

Bailey, Tyrone look great. I hate I missed him but I am really glad his dad got a chance to visit with him. He really enjoyed himself and visiting with the grand kids. We are glad Tyrone has the support from everyone, despite what is going on overseas. We are praying and hoping for a safe return and he will be back before you know it. We will keep him and the other soldiers in our prayers and hopefully administration will make some changes. Can't wait to read waht's next. Take care. We look forward to hearing from you soon. I have tears in my eyes after reading about the homnecoming---what a lift for Tyrone's spirits as well as yours, Bailey. Then your mom told us about the seat exchange, fax etc . Its like The Lord just kept sending "helps" for the really hard hard day!!! We'll contnue to pray with you for the time to be well used and Tyrone's safe return to your family. Love Yu GMBJ
