Haunted HQ at Squadron

Last night Tyrone's Squadron put on a Haunted HQ for the kids. It was nice because they had a "treat" side for the younger kids, so it was nothing that the kids couldn't handle. Shiloh really wasn't liking the adults in costume, so she rode on Daddy's shoulders most of the way, but everyone had fun.

We had Bumblebee from Transformers, Batman, and a fairy princess (complete with glitter and a wand, but the wand didn't make it into the pics somehow)





In other news, a horrible, but short lived, gastrointestinal thing swept through our house last weekend, putting a rapid halt to all of our plans. Everyone is feeling better, until last night when Gabe was running a fever. He seems to be better today, but we will see. With his asthma, it's always concerning, a fever is never JUST a fever.

Also, last night, Rio, our black kitten that we rescued, died. She went into hypothermia for no good reason, not for the first time, (we believe that she had feline diabetes) and we did what we were supposed to warming her against our skin and with warm towels, feeding her warm pedialyte through a syringe, and we thought she was doing ok....and then she was gone.
