31 weeks (1 day early, I'm allowed!)

Wednesday, October 28, 2009

Ok, so it's been pointed out to me that I am several weeks behind on the belly pics. All I can say is that with as sick as we have all been, y'all wouldn't have wanted to see me the past 2 weeks! lol

So, I'll actually be 31 weeks tomorrow, but I was in a picture mood today! :)

*I had an appt. with my midwife yesterday, and the baby is looking good, although she is "wiggly" as she pointed out, lol

*I have a severe case of dry eye related to pregnancy, some areas of my eye are completely missing the protective tear film...ouch! So, new glasses, as you can see in the pic! Also I am under the care of an opthomologist for the rest of the pregnancy.

*Hernia has gotten bigger

*I'm anemic (no big surprise)

*I have a neurology appt. on the 10th, whoo hoo!

*After 7 weeks of not gaining any weight, I FINALLY gained 2 pounds in the last 4 weeks! (the only time you'll hear me be excited about weight gain! lol)

*I am so excited to meet our newest daughter....9 weeks isn't that long! I am thrilled that all of my issues are fairly minor...I'm friends with several girls who have had preemies or are dealing with life threatening complications, so this stuff is small potatoes! We are so thankful for a healthy baby!!!!

*We changed her name again, lol, but I am POSITIVE we are sticking with this one! I think Tyrone has put his foot down, lol

Popped over from BlogFrog. Hi!

Your belly is adorable! I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly.

Ok, let me start out by saying I do not want to creep you out. I saw your pregnancy picture on the Stellan map, because I was checking out people that lived in my area. Then I saw your post on the blogfrog, and I felt compelled to leave you a comment. I know the hospital near where you live isn't the greatest. Do you have any friends that could take your blood pressure and pulses for you over the weekend? This might help ease your mind. Also, did you feel like you were worried or over anxious when they were doing all the tests? If so, that could have made your heart rate spike. If you really feel unwell, I would trust your intuition. See if you can call your OB, or maybe call L & D and ask them to explain the test results to you. If worse comes to worse, you could always go to urgent care, but since it is flu season that might not be a great idea either. Try to stay busy and keep your mind off of what is going on, but don't hesitate to trust your gut and make another trip to the doctor if you need to.

Man! You have got to be the most fantastic looking pregnant woman ever. I gained something like 70 pounds with my pregnancy (and 30 after! Eep!) I was really healthy BEFORE, but now I am just fat:-(

I hope the next 9 weeks are full of joy and anticipation and that your little one is in your arms before you even know what's happening:-)
