**Emme continues to need to be wrapped up tight. The SwaddleMe that Grandma and Grandpa gave her is the BEST invention ever! It is our magic blanket that can bring quiet and sleep when we have exhausted everything else! That and my pouch from KangarooKorner fill Emme's need to be all wrapped up! She often gets her best naps when we are out and about shopping and she is all snuggly with me in the pouch!
**She now smiles OFTEN and even laughed yesterday! I don't know if any of you remember, but Kaleb got Shiloh's first laugh, and he got Emme's first, too! He was singing, dancing, and making crazy faces for her, and, sure enough, she laughed! He's a good bubba :)
**Emmeline is still exclusively nursing and, to me, this is a HUGE deal! Current research sows that nursing exclusively for the first 6 months of life greatly reduces the risk of asthma, allergies, and eczema, all three of which our kids are prone to. I feel awesome knowing that we are doing all we can to help her!
**Emme is fascinated by all of us, and I think is starting to recognize us as individuals. She will really look at and concentrate on each of us, and seems to want to follow the back and forth of a conversation, even trying to participate with her own sounds!
**She is doing great with tummy time, and is very strong! We also discovered today that sometimes all she wants is to be propped in a sitting position where she can watch the world!
Emmeline is a love bug who loves cuddling more then anything, and we are happy to oblige! What a sweetpea....Happy 2 months, Emmeline Lily!
