I am sooo happy! I haven't really mentioned this b/c I didn't want to be all "woe is me" but we (Tyrone and I) have been sleeping on an air mattress since OCTOBER. Yes, me with the rods in my back and fused vertebrae...fun, huh? BUT....yesterday we bought a bedroom set!!! I slept on a REAL bed last night....I feel like I could take on the world! :)
I will put up pics once everything is together and organized again, since we have to switch out dressers, hang curtains, etc.
In other news, we just had a 4 day weekend with Tyrone, which was fabulous. He is back to work today, and the boys have the entire week off of school...mid-winter break!? I have never heard of such a thing and I am sure it is a total scam ;) We are going to make the most of it and I plan on taking the kids sledding and to a super cool indoor playground on post sometime this week.
Sadly, Tyrone has 24 hour CQ on Saturday. Meaning, he goes to work 8am Saturday morning and should get home about 10am Sunday morning. He will (obviously) need to sleep most of Sunday. Generally, he doesn't start to stir until between 4 and 5, and then he'll be back to work for another week Monday morning :( I hate not getting to spend much time with him, but it sure is nice that he gets to come home :)
In other news, my mouth is no better, and maybe a little worse. I have the nightguard now and I swear it's really a medieval torture device. I go to my specialist in Syracuse (2 1/2 hours from here) again next week, so I guess we'll find out the next step then.
