Today, she was going to ride to the commissary with me, but I nixed our trip when the snow predicted for the day got above 3 inches. Instead, she came over and visited with me and helped the boys and I make their Valentines for school tomorrow. These aren't the best pics ever, but they're all I have, and it was so sweet of her to help.
Here's K hard at work (I was helping him with the spelling, but he wrote his classmate's names all by himself!)

And here's Gabe, Shiloh, Jaylin, and Sheena. Yes, Martin fam, that is TOTALLY Tyrone's kimshi squat.

Before Gabe went to school on Wed., he was wearing his Spiderman hat everywhere. Shiloh watched him carefully, and the second he left on the bus, she snatched the hat up and did EXACTLY what he had done. Oh goodness....she can be girly, but do I see a touch of tomboy?

Aww Bailey. You have no idea how wonderful its been to make such a great friend. I was sure of myself that my whole time in the army would be full of no friends and nonsense. But you have proven me wrong. I hope we never lose touch when the inevitable happens.....moving. And to top the icing on the cake your family is so welcoming! Im glad I have such good friends as our neighbors!
