So, I know there's been alot of snow play posts up...but it's the only outside of the house thing we've been able to do! Anyway, Tyrone has 24 hour staff duty today (from 9 this morning until 9 tomorrow morning.) The kids were out of school, so we decided to go to post and hang out with Dawn.
If you think that we have alot of snow at our house....Ft. Drum has SO MUCH MORE!! It all has to do with how close to Lake Ontario Ft. Drum is. We are 25 miles further out, but it makes all the difference. There can be as much as a 15 degree difference in temps, and they have had white out conditions several times since we've been up here where we haven't seen a single flake here.

This is Shiloh's not amused face. She is sick of the snow, I think. I had to hold her pretty much the whole time we were out there. You can see how not thrilled she is that I put her down to help K.

this is an unbelievable amount of snow! shiloh sort of reminds me of the kid from the movie "A Christmas Story." :)
