1.) When asking Gabe if a rash on his tummy was itchy, the reply I got was an I-can't-believe-you're-so-stupid look and "No, mommy. It's RED!"
2.) I gave the boys some Nerd candies as a treat, which the dog really wanted. I overheard Kaleb saying to him "NO! Tito, these are for little kids and big people and that's final!"
3.)Kaleb and Gabe were in the backseat of the truck, playing bad guys, good guys. I heard Kaleb saying "Uh, oh, Gabe, we've got company!" and "Oh, NO! INCOMING!"
4.)Tyrone and I had a friendly wager going about exactly where a new store we wanted to go to was. When I won, Gabe cheered for me "Go Mommy, it's your birthday! Go Mommy...."
5.)Kaleb and his Grandma (my mom) always sing to each other on the phone. This is just their thing, it's something that they've done since K was old enough to hold the phone. I suppose he thinks this is something that everyone does....I was in the kitchen, fixing dinner the other night and Kaleb came in to talk to me. He told me that he had just made up a new song, and he proceeded to sing it to me. When he was done, he put his hands on his hips and said "And you can just sing that to your mom when you call her." and he turned around and walked back out.

thats cute and funny
love the stories! even though i don't know the boys yet, i can picture them doing everything you said. the last story was especially funny; i love kids' perceptions!
I think that the "Funny things my boys say" may become a semi-regular feature...they are a source of constant amusement!
Do you mean that everybody doesn't sing on the phone? The next song I'm going to sing will be Elma Turl. I know he'll love it!
I am in favor of a regular feature!
Mom
MOTHER!!!
I agree, this is a good regular feature for you. I'll very much look forward to it.
um, who is Elma Turl?
