24 Week Appointment

I had my 24 week appointment today. The baby made the doctor and I both laugh (Tyrone, bless his heart, had run up to the store to get some Tylenol, as he had dental work done about an hour before my appt.) When the dr. tried to get her heart rate, the baby ran like crazy!! It was hilarious, my stomach was jumping here and there, with the dr. chasing her all over with the doppler...she finally had to press her hand down into one side of my stomach to limit the room the baby had to run, so we managed to get about 3 seconds of her heartbeat before she was gone again. When we were done with that, Dr. Harrison said "Well, she's spunky!"

The only other interesting thing that happened is that the baby is measuring big (although the doc told me that this could be just b/c of all her movement and how she is laying.) The upshot of this is that I get to have another ultrasound!! Whoo hoo! Of course we love getting to see her! So, I'm supposed to make another appt. for that, which should be in the next week or two.

Overall, it was a very good appt., and I am glad to be meeting all of the different OBs and midwives at the clinic (there are 4 of each), each time I make an appt., I make it with someone new, so that when the time to have the baby comes, I should know the person who is catching her!! So far, everyone has been soooo nice, and I couldn't be more thrilled.
