we <3 the outside

We spent most of the afternoon at a totally awesome birthday party for a friend (pics to come), and then it was just to pretty to stay inside when we got home! We went outside, and decided to have an impromptu family cookout. I even pulled an old blanket out and we ate outside....good times!

Aren't these beautiful and all spring-y like?

And, THIS, well, THIS is the tree that I measured our snowfall by all winter, by which branches the snow reached. And look at it now! Beautiful!
