tea party

Friday, May 8, 2009

My friend, Dawn, volunteered to watch Shiloh so that I could go to Gabe's Mother's Day tea party! It was so much fun to get to go!! The kids worked really hard to pull it all off (along with some industrious pre-k teachers!)

We had blackberry tea, cookie rolls, gummy worms, bug cookies, watermelon, and cookies that the kids made yesterday! There were peanut butter and jelly cookies, pineapple cookies, and, of course, chocolate chip! ALSO....I brought home some bean plants that Gabe grew, Marigolds, a necklace he made, an ADORABLE pic of him in a sailor suit holding tulips, and a great lady bug card (thought of you, Kristy!).

Gabe wasn't so sure about blackberry tea....

But felt much better about watermelon and cookies!

And here is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard!
