Now that they finally have their Dora pirate ship back, they've been having lots of fun with it out back. They think I'm the "super-coolest" if I let them have a "pirate lunch" in their pirate ship. When they are in their, though, you MUST call K "Captain Bones" and Gabe a "scurvy dog" hehe. Anyway. So, I gave them their sandwiches and deviled eggs, and went back inside (watching them from our huge open window while folding laundry). Soon, I realized that "Captain Bones" had turned his back to me and the boys were whispering very quietly (always a sure fire sign something is up). I went outside to find that they were both COVERED with crumbs, as was their ship. When asked what in the world they were doing, the answer was "feeding the bugs...they'll be here soon." I can't really argue with the logic, b/c if my back porch is covered in crumbs, they WILL be here soon. grrrrr....

After her nap, Shiloh and I joined the boys outside. They were pretty much already laying this way, and, silly me, I thought that it would be fun to get an adorable pic of them laying together in the grass. The SECOND that I turned the camera on, K decided that the sun was "TO TO TO BRIGHT!", and started making faces and complaining. Shiloh loves her bubba, so when he decided this was not a good situation, she became unsure, started fussing, and got up. I snapped the pic as they were, and let it go.
The boys rolling down our hill.....

Shiloh, crawling backwards down the hill, in an attempt to do what the bubbas were doing.... :)

I am happy to report that when we came inside, I decided to try AGAIN to have some fun and made our modified version of "Baby Blender Foods" Nutty Choco Monkey shake (our version involves peanut butter, milk, chocolate instant breakfast powder, bananas, crushed ice, and lots of blending). It was soooo good, we drank it and watched cartoons. This snack also has the added benefit of cracking the boys up with laughter EVERY time you say it's name. :)

Hello my sweet Bailey. I am so glad to be up and running in a technological way again!!!! I missed you so much while my computer had the flu.
Thank you so much for the comment you left for me on my blog. You have got to be the sweetest girl in the whole world, and I love you dearly.
I am so glad that Shiloh is learning to be her own person and tough. She will need to be in this world and I want her to be able to hold her own, but I also know that you are a survivor and a fighter so she is sure to be just like mommy. I am also so glad that the sun is shining there so the boys can get out and be boys!!!! I love all of you.
Love, Kristy /and the Kids Meme!
