He is risen!

What a wonderful Easter morning! Last night, before bed, the boys and I got comfy in their room and talked about what we know about why Easter is so important. I'm so glad that they are retaining more than just egg dying and candy.

This morning we went to church and heard a wonderful message about a "tale of two tombs", about the difference between King Tut's tomb (earthly treasure stored up, dead man still dead) and Jesus' tomb (empty-he was just there temporarily, and had his treasure elsewhere). It was great! Then, we had a church breakfast where the boys ate....and ate....and ate!

The Easter bunny came while we were at church, and when we got home there were baskets and hidden eggs!

After the egg hunt, we came back in to munch on some candy....

(hence, the chocolate mouth....) Happy Easter!

You've got it all together about Easter!!!!! Loved hearing about your day ---talking with the kids about the real meaning, church, the celebration AND the Easter bunny. Wow, great job. Hugs from gmbj
