Christmas!!

We got up this morning at 7 to find that Santa had indeed visited!! Santa's cookies and milk were gone, the reindeer food we left outside has been eaten, and there were PRESENTS everywhere! Our house also had the unique distinction of receiving a visit from Santa AND the tooth fairy in the same night, as Kaleb's front tooth finally gave up the ghost yesterday.

By a stroke of genius (not mine, but someone's on a blog that I frequent) instead of reading the Christmas story out of my bible to the kids last night, I read it out of Kaleb's illustrated children's bible. It was true to life, and worded in ways that catch the kids' attention and are easy to understand.

It was an awesome Christmas morning...everyone got great stuff (although Shiloh was overwhelmed and is now napping, having never even gone through her stocking :) ), but, best of all, we know the reason for Christmas, and we are together.

Opening the Glo-Worm from Aunt Nene

Covering up her new dolly from Grandma....she's such a girl :)

Daddy picked this out for Shiloh...her very own laptop, in hopes she will leave ours alone!

I love this kitchen for Shiloh. She loves it, too! Oh, and do you see how she is standing on the dishwasher door? She does that to MY dishwasher, too! lol

K playing with Teckno the robotic dog. Tyrone and I gave him this and it is really really cool!!

This is the present I've been waiting on to give Tyrone.....

An xbox 360, with Need For Speed Undercover!!!
Needless to say, he is really really really happy with his present! I, also, was very spoiled this Christmas. Kaleb gave me some cool bath stuff with a poof that he got from Santa's Workshop at school, which is an awesome program that allows the kids to buy their own presents for people. He and Gabe also made me cry with their other gifts. K gave me an ornament with snowmen on it that he painted along with a poem about how every year I can look at it and remember when he was little, and Gabe gave Tyrone and I an ornamentwith his handprint, name, and the year on it....they will never be this little again!
Tyrone gave me a beautiful dragonfly necklace (I love dragonflies), and a brand new mp3/mp4 player (I've been in need of an upgrade for a while), along with other awesome stuff including new perfume! And, it's even snowing outside! What more could you want from a Christmas?
Merry Christmas, everybody!
