Emmeline turned 10 months old yesterday! I haven't been posting very much because it's been hard with only taking pictures with my phone, but of course we can't skip the monthly update!
Our little Emme has come a long way this month! She is feeding herself some of the time, and doesn't gag on anything thicker than a puree anymore. She can climb an entire set of stairs, sign "all done" and "mama", and says about 10 words (Mama, Dada, Bubba, bye bye, night night, done, and a few others), which blows me away. She also gives kisses, loves peek-a-boo, and will imitate just about any facial expression. Also, she can stand all by herself, and is *this close* to taking her first steps. She is still nursing.
Emmeline still does not: take a bottle or sippy, sleep through the night, or have teeth. But's it's cool. 'Cause she's cute :) Seriously, she is a happy girl and loves to see people, and ride in the sling. She likes to swing at the park and play in the grass, and she knows just who her Daddy is when she sees him on the computer. She is a delight to our hearts!
