the princess is growing up

Shiloh was still in her crib. We liked the crib. She climbed out once a few months ago, didn't like it, and never tried again. She has wonderful sleep habits and I was hoping that she would be in her crib until she was 6. I'm joking. Sort of.

Anyway, all of that came to a screeching halt on Saturday when she some how broke a slat completely off the crib, rendering it unsafe. What is worse is that it was SUPPOSED to be her toddler bed, but that was out now, too, because of the location of the broken slat. So I hurriedly ordered her a toddler bed and she slept on her mattress on the floor with the baby gate in her door. She did ok, taking only about 30-45 min to fall asleep with full reign of her room (she doesn't have any toys in there, so it's pretty boring, I moved them ALL to the playroom to help with this problem.)

Today, though, it came! A big girl bed, a bed fit for a princess, a BIG BED JUST FOR SHILOH!!! She is beside herself! And what other kind of bed would you get for Shiloh???

A princess bed, of course. Quickly made up with her princess sheets, and her in her princess nightgown. She couldn't be happier!
