Poor Gabe has bronchitis, and with his asthma, you know that didn't turn out well! He was wheezing (according to him, he had weasels in his mouth, lol) so we left church early and came home to do some treatments, but they weren't cutting it. Even after several round of Albuterol at home, we headed in to the ER and he was satting around 93-94%, so not horrible, but certainly not ideal, especially after everything we had already done.

His X-rays came back clear, and we have antibiotics for his bronchitis, and Xopenex for his nebulizer. He spiked a fever AFTER we were home, of course. But, he has all of his drugs on board and is fast asleep, at least for now. Hopefully he will have a quick recovery! In true Gabe style, you can see that he has a smile on his face even with the nebulizer :)

Kaleb, curled up with a chapter book that he got from the library yesterday. This soooo warms my heart. I even had to make him put it down this morning so that he could get ready for school, which made me smile. If you knew me when I was a kid, this happened to me often....I just wanted to get lost in a book!

This "gangsta" pose was TOTALLY unscripted by me. Gabe and I were playing with the camera and he was doing all kinds of crazy stuff and telling me to take his picture. Shiloh ran over and jumped in, it was hilarious. Tyrone and I were cracking up. At least Gabe's gang signs are "I love you"s!

Thrilled to be cuddled up with Daddy after a long day.

36 weeks

Thursday, December 3, 2009

Well, time marches on! I have 4 weeks (28 days!!) 'til this little girl's due date! Time for me to pack my hospital bag and put finishing touches on a few last things, b/c it won't be long now!

Other then that, I am just trying to focus on enjoying the kicks and rolls and hiccups, since I will never have a time like this again with one of my babies! The kids are getting excited about their new sister, and Kaleb got REALLY excited this morning when we sat down and figured out that when he is old enough to get his driver's license, his littlest sister will be the age he is now. Scary!

much later than last year!

thanksgiving is when i say it is!

Wednesday, November 25, 2009

We were all set to have Thanksgiving on, well, Thanksgiving. We found out yesterday, however, that Tyrone had 24 hour duty starting at 9am on Thanksgiving morning. Yuck! I was upset for a few, and then we decided that we would just have Thanksgiving a day early! So, today was the day!

The boys set the table and made decorations for the table and around the house...

Including napkin holders by Kaleb!

Here's part of our spread, not pictured are the rolls and cranberry sauce, and the other pumpkin pie.

It was impossible for me to get one shot where you could see everybody, so these 2 will have to do :)

And now, Tyrone can take Thanksgiving leftovers with him to work tomorrow. I think the kids and I will have a pajama and cartoon day while also eating yummy leftovers!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!
